Dennis Cannelis is a serial entrepreneur with a proven track record in start-ups and early stage companies leading to acquisition exit strategies for shareholders. As a successful entrepreneur, he has consistently maintained a successful track record in complex business environments – achieving all revenue goals from venture launch to implementation and acquisition.

Dennis is currently an investor and Partner with Ardour Capital Investments in New York. The firm engages in a wide range of financial services for both privately held small capitalization growth companies and public companies in the alternative energy and high technology sectors.

Dennis is also a business coach, providing business consulting with small business - start-ups and early-stage companies - providing entrepreneurial expertise. As a small business coach and small business consultant , he has leveraged the growth of several of three other small cap energy companies.

As an entrepreneur, Dennis made his first $M when he leveraged the acquisition of several technology companies he had founded, in a stock transaction with a publicly traded company for multiple valuation.

Founding Creative Business Solutions, Inc., in 1991, Dennis managed an annual 30-40% growth rate for this IT professional services firm, focusing on developing and delivering timely custom application solutions, and providing support and maintenance to Fortune 500 companies, such as American Airlines. Dennis sold the company in a stock acquisition to The TriZetto Group in 1999 at a multiple valuation of EBIDTA.

In 1997, Dennis identified a need to improve the workflow and processing of critical transactions in healthcare delivery systems. He directed the formation of a LTD partnership, of which he was 80% investor and CEO, Healthweb Systems, LTD. Healthweb developed a first of its kind portal to link physicians to health plans via Internet technology. The company was also acquired by The TriZetto Group in 1999 for a multiple return to all stakeholders.

Prior to his entrepreneurial engagements, Dennis served as Senior Vice-President of Information Systems for Deltec Corporation, now a division of Exide, and was a Programmer / Analyst for Electronic Data Systems.

Dennis received his B.A. from New York University and certification in Management Information Systems from Program Systems Institute.
